Shayna’s LA Challenge

Aspiring writer Shayna Morgan moves to Los Angeles to try to make it as a screenwriter. But when all of her attempts fail, Shayna tries a new writing approach – turning her rejected screenplays into novels requiring rewriting all of her screenplays. Soon thereafter Shaina becomes a best selling author.

A few months later as Shayna is celebrating her success, a man from her home town claiming to be her former fiancee walks into her life and nearly destroys it by claiming Shayna’s debut novel is the novel he had written himself and demands Shayna give him all of the royalties she had received from the book’s sales and the enormous advance she had also received for it.

The man is convinced he’s got it in the bag for he believes Shayna is an easy target. Little does the man knows, Shayna has a few tricks of her own. Not only does Shayna knows the man’s ultimate weakness, she also friends with a few of the wealthiest and toughest author lawyers in town.

Shayna does have one very important fact about her so called ex fiancee, he cannot even write a letter much less an entire novel and she intends to prove it.

Summer 2017

Grace Carpenter woke at dawn on a scorching hot Monday morning: it just happened to be the first Monday after her high school graduation; got out of bed and went into the small upstairs bathroom.

She washed up, washed and combed her long blonde hair and put it back in a very long braid: and then went back into the bedroom.

Christmas In The Country

Christina Lincoln strolled cautiously along the snow covered gravelled road that led out to her Aunt Megan’s country house.

It was a week before Christmas and she had finished her writing job in town, received her pay and was looking forward to spending Christmas week with her mother Ava Jeanne Heaten – Lincoln at her aunt’s country house along with her older brothers Jeffrey and Chad Lincoln and her younger sisters Isla, Skye and Georgia Lincoln and their cousins Traci, Rory and Jenny.

It was getting dark when Christina arrived at her Aunt Megan’s country house. As she walked up to the front porch, Christina could not believe her eyes.

The front room of her Aunt Megan’s country house did in fact look like a Beverly Hills furniture store.

Apparently all those rumors about her Aunt Megan’s fascination with the elegant stores of Beverly Hills wasn’t exaggerated.

Christina entered the elegant front room and soon saw her beautiful, middle aged blonde haired aunt lounging on the long white couch.
